Female actor needed to be part of a development workshop that looks at building a scene through character development and improvisation. This is part of a series of exercises exploring rehearsal methods by an MAF director from the Screen Academy ScotlandLily - female - 40s/50s
Date & Time: Merchiston Campus, Edinburgh, Sunday 1st March, 13.00-17.00
The aim of this exercise is to see what happens if we take two characters and build a scene through improvisation. It should be 'feel free' so the actors can experiment and bring what they feel to the scene.
Lily, 50, lives in a small highland village where it's impossible to meet anyone new, long term singleton, daughter just left home for the bright urban lights. She starts a B&B in her bedroom (double bed) and moves into her daughters bedroom (single bed). Through the guests that stay she sees new ways of being.
