About the job

Seeking to hire an experienced screenwriter for feature film.  The film is a period-piece & is based on a true story about an Italian immigrant who comes to America through Ellis Island with good intentions, but ultimately lives a life of crime / corruption / violence leading to his dramatic downfall.  Significant research has already been completed, life-rights acquired and a basic outline for the story is available.  

Ideal candidates would be - based in NYC (or at least willing to be here during the Summer), demonstrated experience with screenwriting dramatic films, ability to work collaboratively with the current team, available to start ASAP with tight deadlines to complete script.
