Six Beats Of Separation™ Seeks a FULL-TIME Camera Operator/Assistant Video Editor.$65,000.00

While this is a DUAL Role, the main function of the role is to serve as a camera operator. Video editing will serve to assist our Senior Editor.

Job Requirements:

• EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE with a gimbal rig 
• Experience with operating on rollerblades
• Experience with a Ready-rig
• Experience operating focus on a hand-held gimbal rig
• Experience working in close proximity with another camera operator where both are moving freely
• Must be a music lover  
• EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE EDITING with Davinci Resolve
• Experience with Panasonic GH5 a plus
• Musician a plus

This Dual Role Pays $65,000.00 Plus Benefits.

Who We Are:

Six Beats Of Separation™ is a new nonprofit organization built to celebrate the powers of creativity, expression and most importantly SHARING. All while championing some of the worlds most important causes. We sit with the worlds most followed individuals, celebrities of all walks, athletes (think Shaquille O'Neal, Apolo Ohno) authors (think J.K. Rowling), musicians (think Alicia Keyes, Beck, Dave Grohl, Hans Zimmer), and we ask them to share with us ONE song that means more to them than any other. Something with deeply personal significance, a song that moves them and that they are compelled to share. 

Then, via long-form video interviews in a simple yet visually elegant setup, and though a photo shoot that captures them listening to said song on headphones as we simultaneous capture the timestamp at the moment of exposure of each photos frame, in a more elaborate 4-walled cyclorama setting, and filmed to the energy of the song... We create episodes, and prints and posters, that in-turn generate revenue for the charity of our subjects choice.

Your Role at Six Beats Of Separation™ 

You will film A-list celebrities in a 4-walled Cyclorama room, as they listen to their favorite song and are simultaneously photographed. The content we create will generate revenue for the charities of their choice. 

You will be a crucial part of the team at Six Beats Of Separation™ working closely with the founder, photographer Jason Joseph, and initially with co-director the highly awarded executive producer/director Daniel Catullo. (Landmarks Live in Concert with Host Chad Smith.)  Your position will afford you the unique opportunity to work hand in hand with the senior video editor, as our team essentially creates 2 'music videos' per week of these celebrity photo shoots, with an ever varying vibe, all while working closely to create an episodic feel that ties the episodes together.

We have our sights on creating AWARD WINNING CONTENT, and you should too.
The entire world will have its eyes on this project, and it is an opportunity for the right person, to produce groundbreaking work for some of the worlds most incredible charities.
