During the Zimbabwe economic crisis, a kitchen manager of a bakery has to hold his boss hostage in order to buy time to come up with an innovative bread recipe to save the business from closing.

Synopsis

“Feeding our nation one slice at a time,” Is the motto of Baxter’s Bread Basket Bakery. In this family owned business works a well-mannered man named, Martin Nyathi. His worked as the manager for more than twenty years.  He believes whole heartedly in the moto, the business and the family. In better days gone by he used to be the main cog in a well-oiled machine, but in these hard economic times he finds himself struggling to manage. Though, that does not affect his passion for his work. Every day, except Saturdays, at five thirty in the morning, his love affair begins with a to-do list...
