The Independent Producers Guild (independentproducersguild.org) in connection with 501(c)(3) Stage And Screen Innovations (formerly Tailor Living Charities) has launched a new media arts program, the "Virtual Theatrical Program." The VT program develops, produces and airs in live performance and live-stream original new works written specifically to cross the format of live theatre and film. The Virtual Theatrical program develops new voices in a new narrative form which combines an immersive experience, interactive elements and both live audience and live-stream. The initiative combines with a skills development program for producers, production managers and directors. Your work would be in sponsorship & fundraising. You will work in consultation with the program director, the Artistic Director and the General Manager, but you must be a self-starter. We are able to give tax receipts for donations of cash and qualified in-kind donations. If you are adept at writing grant applications, that is a plus.

FilmPods address important development and distribution issues for independent film creators, and are designed to increase their revenues and allow them to circumvent mainstream ownership of distribution channels (and the puny profits those allow independents). You should be someone with a background in both film and film distribution & marketing - especially so-called "DIY" and unconventional methods or marketing. But you *must* have a visionary mindset and a wish to make money within the independent industry. You have watched the evolution of the movie industry over the last many years and your conclusion is that the day of the majors is done, the day of the independents is rising again. You know independent films amount for 90% of the numbers - you want to help us take 90% of the industry revenues. Yes, this means rocking the boat a bit once in a while.
