About the job

Looking for an experienced screenwriter to pen a short film that can become a feature. The story centers around a street artist (air brush painter) who loves his daily art and is a kind hearted, big and gentle souled person who profoundly impacts those living and working around him including a homeless lady, a local homeless dancer struggling to survive, local nearby shop keepers and others in the area near him. His world changes when a con artist moves in to take over his street corner and steal his customers shattering his world and challenging his resolve to rise above it and inspire those around him. All seems lost when his arm is broken the night before a spray paint contest is set to determine who will get the corner. 

I am producing the film and a supporting actor in the film. I am looking for a writer who is willing to work for credit and a small writing fee with the potential to have the short film become a feature. This is a story that is more suited to be a feature. The short will be heavily promoted in film festivals around the world with the intention of turning it into a feature. I have produced several other short films successfully and am looking forward to working with a very experienced screenwriter who can take this story and turn it into a script with a great worldly message regarding the love of the human spirit and have a soul that will take it to a very special place and is centered around a family (although an unconventional one) that will inspire the world.
