About the job

Auffant Films is seeking an experienced gaffer for a 6 day shoot in Taylor Texas, and downtown Austin Texas

Film dates are the 7th, 8th, 11th, 12th, and 13th of November

The 7th, and 8th would be outside filming days, and as November is a rainy month we might need to move to the 9th, and 10th as alternate days.

There is also a day where we will be doing pickups, and that could be the 14th, 15th, or 17th of November

We realize it's difficult to set aside days when you might have other confirmed work, so there's no hard feelings if you can't make the alternate days work, but we will have to go with someone else on the alternate days if you're not available.

We have the following lights for the shoot:

2) Litepanels astra 6X Bi-Color

1) Litepanels astra 4x Bi-Color

1) Arri Fresnel Kit (300w, 650w, 650w, 1000w)

1) 8x8 Diffusion Cloth

1) Mini flag Kit

We have a full battery kit for mobile days where we won't have time to setup the arri kit, or run power.

Any additional lights you own would be considered a plus, but are not required.

We will be filming on a Red Epic Dragon with Xeen primes

Please provide a sample of your work, a demo reel with shots you've gaffed would be preferred along with a sample of a completed project that you gaffed.

Auffant Films does a wide variety of work in Central Texas, and we are always on the lookout for permanent members of our crew, if you're a good fit for our crew we will have plenty of future work available for you.
