Southside Films is committed to telling stories that audiences will love and to promoting diversity in the entertainment industry. With that in mind, we are seeking an African-American writer or co-writers to write a screenplay based on true events surrounding an African-American protagonist in a largely minority area. Applicants must be experienced in writing action, thriller and/or crime. Experience with period films and/or films based on true events are a plus.
Canadian writers are STRONGLY encouraged to apply. Writers do not need to be located in the Los Angeles area.
