About the job

 Seeking Actors for Dramatic Short Film. Filming dates TBA. The shoot should only be 2 days most likely in April but it's important for actors to be extremely in touch with their characters and cohesive with the script before hand. It's an extremely deep and artistic piece and that needs to be reflected in the performance.

  This film has a lot of themes and plot twists but is mainly centered around facing death and dreams and what running away vs embracing looks like. It is mainly centered around the daughter Geneva, but the Father and Mothers role are very heavy roles as well, and they will take a lot of vulnerability. Geneva has already been cast so we need pictures of people submitting.

Please only Actors serious about their craft. We will be taking this film to festivals and it will be an amazing project to be a part of. 

All Cast will get well taken care of days of filming and receive copy, credit and possible pay (depending on budget and role)

 Cast Needed:

NOAH - Male Lead – The father of the family, Caucasian (or looks like) in his late 40s-50s but handsome and looks healthy and well kept for his age. He is both charismatic and likable and stubborn and cold.  Deep eyes that tell a tale of torment and fear.  

 AUDREY- Female Supporting – The Mother who is close to death. Caucasian (or looks like) in her late 40’s-50s. She is graceful and elegant even while dying. Gentle eyes that speak of wise understanding and peace. She has such an aura of calm and gentle lovingness she makes anyone feel nurtured by her presence. There will be a flash back scene where she is vibrant and youthful. But the majority of scenes she is very sick.

 OLIVER – Male Supporting – The Best Friend. Any Ethnicity Looks Mid to late 20’s. He is the support and the escape for Geneva (the Lead) and comic relief of the film. He is lighthearted and jokes things off but also listens and cares. He has known Geneva his whole life so there is a deep connection between them. His eyes offer safety and strength to the lost.

 MIA – Female Supporting – The Girlfriend. Any Ethnicity Looks Mid to late 20’s. She is Geneva’s good friend but has a world of issues of her own. She has to play the innocent concerned friend and the seductress who essentially betrays Geneva. Her body language is more important then her words, she doesn’t have heavy lines but she says A LOT with her eyes and her body. Her eyes convey powerful confidence at first glance but with a longer look, you see lonely longing to be wanted lurking in the shadows.

HOSPICE NURSE - Female Supporting - The Hospice Nurse. Any Ethnicity Looks 40's to 60's. She works for hospice and comes to peoples homes to help them help their loved ones die at home so naturally she is very compassionate and understanding. Her eyes have both heartbreak and serenity swirling around in them.

CARSON & MASON -  The Teenage Brothers. Male Supporting. Caucasian (or looks like) looks 14-18 but prefer 16-24 year old who looks young. Twins would be ideal or brothers who look alike. Youthful eyes full of wonder.
