About the job

ALAMEDA NAVAL AIR STATION DOCUMENTARY

LOVE NOTE: Hey guys, just a quick love note to all. I am looking for people who want to do there job and create something.  You get out of it what you put in. If this was a huge budget Hollywood production, positions would be provided by the studio or the directors personal contact. There are many films that began with a humble budget. This project is one of them.

So please do not apply if you want everything handed to you. It's all positive, but I don't want to waste anyone's time. The making of a film is like going to war. The outcome is determined by the how determined you are. I need people willing to make this film and be part of a team. It needs to be a win-win situation. I offer experinece and money.

WHAT JOINING THE TEAM MEANS: If you are hired as part of this team, then your name will be attached to it as we negotiate for a larger budget and spread the word. People and organizations want to know who is involved with the project.

HOW WE GET PAID: For most positions, pay will come as funding comes in and at the conclusion of the film. Post production will be paid before they do any work. A trailer needs to be shot for for crowd funding and promotional. Positivty and love to all. Luckly I have not encountered any unpleasant people. Everyone I have come in to contact with has been completly great and inspiring!

PAY:

  • Pay will be commensurate with project funding.
  • With level of experience.
  • Amount of time committed to the projec

WHEN: November, 2019.

WHO: VHSISM INTERNATIONAL DOCUMENTARY COMPANY, from SunTemple RA LTD. VHSISM, a small Indie film company.

WHAT: Seeking small crew for upcoming full length feature film  (documentary) and future projects.

WHERE: The former Naval Air Station (NAS) Alameda is located in the City of Alameda, California and is now commonly referred to as Alameda Point.

WHY: The documentary is meant to show the strong impact the Base has had on the people associated with and the surrounding community.

NON POLITICAL - This documentary is not intended to prove any point about what is to be done with the Base. This documentary is neutral on the future of Alameda Point. The fate of this Base is up to the concerned parties.

PURPOSE - To entertain, teach and create a historical, nostalgic record of this beautiful base. If it is going away, a record of it needs to exist for posterity.

POSITIONS:

Anyone interested in film making, by all means apply. All applicants will be considered. We are not going to turn down anyone with exceptional talent. With that being said, here are the minimum positions required for the job.
