About the job

Looking for an impact producer to join our team to produce a unique music video that is part of a national campaign.

The DREAMERS project is a bold and impassioned campaign designed to be a clarion call to give the estimated 800,000 “Dreamers (DACA kids)” a pathway to citizenship and a life free from the threat of deportation.

A centerpiece of the campaign is an anthem-caliber music video based on a song which samples the hook from Aerosmith’s “Dream On.” Its release will be coordinated with a nation-wide mobilization of musicians, celebrities, comedians, politicians, influencers, organizations, media outlets, and brands, in an effort to finally break the impasse on the “Dream Act,” first introduced in 2001.

The music video will be supplemented by a social media CALL TO ACTION that will drive the public to record, post and share videos of themselves CALLING THEIR SENATORS DEMANDING THEY SUPPORT the “DREAM AND PROMISE ACT OF 2019.”

This is an edgy, thought provoking, attention getting music video designed to call out the injustice on this important issue - not a puff piece on Dreamers.

We need a passionate, motivated producer with solid contacts in the music industry and the ability to make things happen. Ability to reach out to potential backers a big plus.
