OWH Studio, based in Republic of Moldova is looking for an experienced Documentary Filmmaker based in USA, that will provide mentorship for young filmmakers in an online meeting. It is a social project that enables youth from Moldova and Transnistrian region to collaborate using the documentary as a medium.

The project's name is "Film Together"

Film Together intends to enable 10 youngsters coming from both banks of the Dniester river to produce short
documentaries with a max. duration of 5 minute based on the following topics:
-Business
- Ecology
- Tourism (urban)
- Tourism (rural)
- Art
5 teams, composed of 2 members from Moldova and Transnistria, will make short films on one of the topics
specified above. Teams will interact online, help each other, share their impressions and create 10 unique short
documentaries. The project aims to build human and professional relationships by engaging the participants to
jointly work on documentary film production. The teams will be assisted by film professionals and will be provided
with the necessary technical equipment throughout the project.
We intend to launch the project on August 24th with the support of the Transnistrian partner.

The filmmaker we are looking for must have experience in documentary filmmaking and preferably in mentoring or teaching the basics of documentary film craft. He or She must be available for an online meeting with the project participants. The filmmaker must be able to explain and guide the young students in their ideas, helping them to make a better documentary. He or She must acknowledge the cultural diferences between filmmaking in Eastern Europe and the USA.
