I am looking for advise and help writing a screenplay/script for a show that I have been working on for almost 3 years now. I am a major fan of the hit show "Once upon a time" and would like my show to be wrote in the same fashion. I have my bachelors degree in Digital Media Production an have some experience in writing screenplay/scripts but it is not my forte. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Well good luck - whatever you decide. You can join a writer's room or online community for free and have your work read aloud. They can offer input, suggestions, and feedback, and you would do the same for them. I hear so many eloquent and talented writers in my playwrighting workshop, and if we don't follow the rules (of Snyder, Campbell, McGee, and Bork - among others) we will not write a commercially viable script. That's what I mean by learning from the pros. There is an art and science to it, and those you ask for advice might not be aware. I can't afford not to take a class. At $400.00 for 35 lessons, videos, zoom calls, and exercises, it's a steal! If your budget is super tight, you can borrow the books I mentioned from the library. I do wish you the best!
