Seeking an experienced Producer/Line Producer to assist the writer/director on a short film set to shoot in Fall 2022. The production will take place in New York. 

The film is a dark revenge comedy drama, based on a short play.

The person should be able to balance the competing pressures of the production alongside the creative vision.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Hiring crew and managing the schedules.
• Fundraising.
• Work with writer/director on casting.
• Schedule shoot days and locations.
• Oversee day-to-day logistics
• Responsible for bringing production in under budget and on time
• Proven ability to solve problems and interact with a wide variety of personalities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-3 years prior experience in a line producer, AP or producer role preferred
• Must have a sense of story and story arc
• Roster of production staff including DP’s
• Based in NYC
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask
