So, I have an idea for a musical script but I've never written a musical before so I'm looking for someone who has experience in the writing aspect of the actual music/lyrics. Or maybe can help with the format if it's different than the standard screenplay script

My idea is for a web series. It's not meant to be a broadway musical. It's about a teen girl just entering high school and we go through her experiences of bullying and just trying to find who she is in this big world. The vague idea I have so far is at the start the first song is "Simply Sarah" we see her trying to tell everyone to stop calling her by different names like Tara, Kara, Saharah. She refers to herself as Simply Sarah. BY the end she realizes she is not Simply Sarah but something more. This is when she understands who she is and is no longer trying to find her place in life. She knows what she wants by the end.

I preferably would want a woman writer to collab with because it would be nice to get a woman's perspective on things. I am from Canada so this will have to be remote if you are too far for me.
