  • When the Dragon Swallowed the Sun

When the Dragon Swallowed the Sun (2010)
Film (Documentary) Sound department Unfortunately, the 14th Dalai Lama and the Tibetan people receive little political support in their drive to put an end to the Chinese brutal regime, as international governments are seemingly motivated by economic interests in China. The lack of progress toward a free, or even a truly autonomous Tibet, urges more and more young Tibetans to consider alternatives to the Dalai Lama's Middle Way Policy, a compromise on Tibet's Independence. • The Spot

    The Spot (2008)
Film (Documentary and Short) Sound department November 22, 1963. A day that America and the world will never forget. Four decades later, as the rest of Dallas makes strides as a 21st century city, the spot where President Kennedy was shockingly assassinated remains eerily and forever frozen in time. A reflection on the melancholy and exploitation of a place forever branded in the American psyche, this impressionistic and voyeuristic film exposes the bizarre happenings taking place every day around Dealey Plaza--a prosaic site, made significant by the event that has come to define it. • Left

    Left (2006)
Film (Short) Sound department An impressionistic short film largely inspired by Andrew Wyeth's paintings "Christina's World" and "Helga", LEFT centers around the heartbreaking separation between a woman and the man she loves. Devoid of dialogue, this haunting and operatic film poetically reveals the grief of a woman trapped by the memory of her husband's departure in the midst of windswept grasslands.
