I am an actress, authoress, musician and translator (English and French). My current project as an actress is THE CANTERVILLE GHOST in the role of MRS. OTIS. The premiere was just this weekend (10 September 2016) and was a big success.
The book I'm writing currently is called MAJA (pronounced MAYA), and is about a young woman discovering a new country with all its wonders and dangers. I will be posting a few loglines here soon - these will be easier to read for those of you who can read and understand German. ;o)
My musical instrument is the flute (the silvery one). I've been playing now for over 20 years and I still love it like I did when I started. Well, I enjoy it a lot more now, since I got so well in playing. ;o)
Other than that I enjoy reading, traveling, and adventures. "You cannot win, if you don't try", my mom used to say when I was young, and so I tried and won most of the time. Like this, I lived 5 years in France (Paris area) and one year in Canada (Hinton, Alberta), and went on adventure trips to and through Alaska. My life is beautiful - the places I've seen, the people I've met, new things I've tried - it gets better and better, because I don't stop dreaming and especially don't stop trying everything to make my dreams come true.
“Julia participated in a four-day intensive acting course in Karlsruhe, Germany in May 2015, organized by schauspiel-training. From the first moment on she captivated everyone with her strong charisma. Julia is very open-minded and appeared to be vulnerable on the one hand and to be a strong personality on the other hand. She worked on two roles in our workshop: A twenty-year-old woman in a great crisis and a self-confident mother in a family conflict. She managed to bring to life both characters convincingly. I recommend her especially for film and TV. I sincerely hope that Julia will get a chance to bring in her potential in specific projects. I am happy to have met Julia and wish her much success.” Thomas Höhne, Director, Actor, Acting Teacher, http://www.schauspiel-training.de
