About Kayti

In 2006, Kayti made the move to Los Angeles from Northern California to be with the dreamers, the creators, and the artists. She gained her formal makeup training from Makeup Designory in 2007, studying beauty and character makeup for multi-media. Upon graduation she landed a job with industry giant MAC Cosmetics. It wasn't long before she was managing one of the most successful boutiques in the southwest and traveling throughout the west coast training other managers. Her time at MAC not only proved to be a continued training ground for her makeup artistry skills, but also a place where she found her love for administration, management, and professionalism.
After six years in a corporate setting, she ventured out on her own and embraced her freelance career full time. She specializes in makeup for film and television; her greatest passion is bringing characters to life through the medium of makeup. Some of her career highlights include The Eric Andre Show, Kanye West's "Yeezus Tour", and glamming Chrissy Teigen and Rory Kennedy. When she's not wielding a brush, she can be found educating and presenting at The Makeup Show Los Angeles.
In her downtime she loves to get back to her roots and spend time in Napa Valley with some of her favorite people.. And coffee. She loves coffee.
