About Luis

After high school Luis Valencia attended the University of California, Santa Barbara. During his Junior Year, he studied Cinema, Italian Literature and Art History abroad at the Universita degli Studi in Padova, Italy. In 2009 graduated from UCSB and received his Bachelor degree, double majoring in Film & Media Studies and Italian Studies. In 2011, Luis graduated from the New York Film Academy earning his Master's degree in Filmmaking. Luis has worked in three feature films and various short films. Since then Luis has worked for the Society of Camera Operators, the American Film Market and currently he’s the Production Services coordinator at NYFA.
