CASTING CALL for an experimental short film titled ‘Freedom of Expression’ TITLE: Freedom of Expression THE STORY: is about an Artist who lives in a world where colour is banned and struggles to find the missing link in his work because of it. LOCATION: 4 day shoot in Pune 1-2 days shoot in Bombay ROLES: 1. The Artist as a child - Male - 6-7 years old - wheatish complexion - One day shoot in Pune 2. A Balloon Vendor - Male - 45-55 years old - thin build - 4 day shoot in Pune and 1-2 days in Bombay 3. Artist’s mother - Female - 24-35 years old - wheatish complexion - One day shoot in Pune 4. Artist’s father - Male - 24-35 years old - wheatish complexion - One day shoot in Pune SCREENING: We are aiming to showcase the film at Cannes, San Diego, Goa, Dubai and various other film festivals. PAY: Unfortunately this is an extremely low budget, experimental short film, being made with the aim to screen at film festivals and not for profit. We are Crowdfunding to raise the budget and everyone on board is working for the love of filmmaking and to gain some experience and exposure. However we will be covering ALL EXPENSES - i.e. food, travel & accommodation and we will provide you with a copy of the film as well as promote your name at film festivals.
