My 2 cents as a producer and former studio exec who hopes that new actors are given the opportunity to meet active Casting Directors who can create opportunities for those actors to enter the marketplace: Scams are 100% abusive and should not be tolerated. On the other hand, proper workshops that are educational are a great gateway to future work. If you haven't already done so, take 3 minutes to read about CSA's guidelines defining a proper educational casting working.
