Ms. Cicely Tyson transition this afternoon peacefully. Ms, Tyson would only play strong women and chose which roles to play, she wanted to make sure the women she did play were strong and inspiring, role model type. (12.19.1924 - 1.28.2021) She has over 95 acting roles won an Oscar with another 14 awards. She will be greatly missed. If an actor can change a life, she was the one who changed me for the better.

Cicely Tyson was truly a powerhouse. She embodied every character and truly a gift that keeps on giving. RIP
