That's interesting. With all the cartoons now starring big names, I am surprised to realize they do not have eligibility. I guess in most cases, they are not expecting a nomination for performing in "Rio" or "Frozen" because they're kid stories? But it makes some amount of sense to me. I would rather give nominations and awards to actors and actresses who arealso demonstrating talent with their physical body movements and facial expressions, not just their voices. But with some animated films, the cartoon is created after the actors and actresses act it out, right? That is more of a hybrid.
