Go do CD workshops with Agent/Managers. That's my 2 cents. They're only like $10 to $15 each. (Whereas CD Workshops are 30 to 60). $10 to $15 and guaranteed to get your headshot and SEE YOU ACT. Compare that to cost of mailing around headshots hoping the envelope gets opened, and they still havent seen you act. Its a no brainer to me. But getting referrals will be easier from people you know, you meet in acting class etc. That's how I got my current manager and my commercial agent (best in town). Referals from people who know me and know my skills. Harder to get referals from strangers on the internet. Anyway, this is my 2 cents. Take what you can leave the rest! - Chris
Unless you meet a CD or Manager at a function, I feel the old school headshots and resume/reel still works virtual and hardcopy
