Self-Tape Auditions

More and more it seems that self-tape auditions are the way of the future. I find them frustrating because I have to either beg a friend to help me out, try to do it on my own, or pay a service to tape it for me. Does anyone have any good suggestions for self-tape companies in the LA area, and why do you like them? What's the most you would pay for a self-tape audition without feeling ripped off? And how soon should I expect to get my audition back from them?

Any suggestions will help a lot -- thanks!

When I'm in LA I use the "Creation Station". They're reasonable and know what they're doing. Just have them copy the file to you when they e-mail the self tape to your agent or filmmaker. They are very good as readers and will offer feedback if you ask for it.

Best of luck
