Action Film Lab 6th - 10th August 2012 Two unique courses exploring the art of a working action performer These film fighting courses involve practical experience that will help make you a desirable action actor for film. Film sets can be exciting places to be, they can also be intimidating and highly pressurised environments. Actors are often expected to deliver quickly, often with very little rehearsal time. This course will give you practical experience that will teach you how to perform a fight for film, effectively, accurately and safely. First Film Fighter 3 day course - Suitable for these with little or no film fighting experience An introduction to working fights on film. The course will focus on the basics from terminology and the art of filmmaking to the tricks of the trade, turning a repeatable fight performance. Course Content Jargon Busters Camera Awareness On Set etiquette Q and A's with Working professionals. On the Day - learn what it expected of you. Action - Unarmed combat Playback and take two - a chance to review your action and adjust Hitting marks and Problem solving Staying safe Advanced Action Hero 5 day course - Suitable for those with an advanced fight performer certificate: Learn how to harness your fight and performance skills and hone them for film. Experience is everything: fully understand the medium you are working in and your place within it.
