Animation : A slow process but.... by David Mc Intosh

A slow process but....

I have already written 3 seasons of an animation series that I fully own and created. I did hire some overseas animators to take my characters to the next level. I used to animate, years ago, but these guys do it as a profession for many, many years. They look great!! It's slow because I'm working on other projects as well so I can pay for this one passion project. Would love to get involved with a local animation team to take my vision to the next level as well.. Possibly for the next animation festival, etc..

Thanks all for your time and attention. chat soon..

Where are you located?

David Mc Intosh

Hi Phil.. I'm currently in Sydney, AUS. sorry for the late reply but was traveling like crazy with Family issues, etc.. Thanks for asking!!

Raymond Zachariasse

It makes me curious :)

David Mc Intosh

Thanks Raymond.. I just signed a contract with a local company to create a 2min sizzle reel of my characters.. Can't wait to share it with everyone here and the world!!

David Mc Intosh

Raymond, in your profile it states that you are 7 feet 6?!

Raymond Zachariasse

David - Really? Well, I am not. I will change it. It just think large :)

Raymond Zachariasse

I used to have a 3d animator, but he is off to other projects. At the moment I am busy with a new short, based on my own picture book. I can draw, but sadly not animate.

David Mc Intosh

I'm in a similar situation.. I used to draw tons when I was much younger. I can still do a bit of animation, but still rely on career experts to take it to the next level..

Raymond Zachariasse

Same here indeed :)

What's your budget?

David Mc Intosh

it's all currently self financed and I signed on with a local animation house to speed things up so I can make it to the pitch conventions in June/July..
