I've posted in the past about a cool paltform launching this year by Nimble Collective that will enable animation teams to work in the cloud. That's really interesting, and good news for animators and clients alike! I just subscribed to this discussion because as a writer hoping to find an animator for a new project, I wondered if I might find information about new animators and smaller studios here. As an Indie (who will be crowdfunding) using a big name studio would be out of the question - but in any case I think it would be better to work with a smaller independent, because it's always good to help people who may be just starting out, isn't it? Absolutely, Elaine. These guys are just one of two launching this year! There will be a place for writers/creators to procure talent based upon budget/specialty and interest and experience level. Good luck with your project.
