Animation : CG Demo Reel in Progress by Ben Htoo

I have been working on my CG character animation demo reel, since 2019. So far, I had completed only the first segment of the reel. While it is a newly original piece of animation by me, it stars a character from CGTarian. Check this out: https://vimeo.com/453541857 Ironically, instead of learning anything from any veterans in this lounge, I actually learned the animation techniques from Eric Goldberg’s Character Animation Crash Course and have been following demo reel tips from Rusty Animator. Even my M.F.A. course on traditional animation at Academy of Art University pointed out what principles I need to improve constantly - particularly arcs. Back to the present day: The main purpose of my demo reel is to show my worth and uniqueness to the animation industry. I am hoping to get hired by Disney Animation. For after proving my greater worth as an animator, I get to put my idea for a feature film into action as a film director. At the same time, I could encourage some colleagues to invest in their innovative projects in hand-drawn animation full time. All the while enforcing the studios’ devotion to that form of animation.
