Kinda goes by too quick for me to give a fair assessment but looks like a good start.
Yeah, I know that Bob, just rendered it on a whim, while setting up some different assets. It's kind of like asking, "is this your dog?" I guess. LOL! I shouldn't expect those words/images to ring any bells. But the topic is becoming more popular in my opinion. I mean there's Pacific Rim the Black among others out there. Nevertheless, I continue to work on this genre in whatever way, experimenting, trying to get a feel for my concept. Actually I think I might like it shell shade but who knows r?

I'd like to see the colors pop more for that art style.
