I am a writer and animator. It is very difficult to find funding to produce my ideas. I am thinking of selling them instead. How does one go about doing that?

Hey, Kevin! Finding funding or selling a script is incredibly hard, regardless if it's animated or live-action. Have you put together a pitch for your script? If not, you can also enter it into contests. The recognition could bring more attention, and more attention increases your odds.
Karen "Kay" Ross I do have a pitch. I am pitching to a group tomorrow in fact but I think I need to take your advice and find some pitching competitions as well as use up the pitching opportunities here on Stage32
Absolutely you can pitch on Stage32! I would definitely reach out to our Director of Script Services, Jason Mirch, who is excellent at matching projects with potential executives: J.Mirch@stage32.com
Also, consider what your next steps could be, regardless of whether you sell or finance it. Concept art? Storyboards? An animatic? I've seen some stellar animatics that became film festival winners. Just a thought - work finds you working ;-)
