Looking to hire writers for the pilot and the pitch document for a new children's animated series.

Hi, I am a theatrical producer. I have had productions performed all over the world and all of my stage shows are licensed/produced by major licensing companies. I create stories and characters and then commission writers to write the shows. We just created a new stage show that I think would make a great animated series for children ages 10-12 and am looking to hire a writer(s) to write the pilot and pitch document. Thoughts about where to find those writers, etc?

Beth Fox Heisinger

Hi, Larry. Perhaps one of those writers you have already worked with could be of assistance. Or perhaps you could post on the Jobs board: https://www.stage32.com/find-jobs. That's where members post various "want ads" or searches for creative partners, paid or not paid. You could also utilize "Browse" found in the upper menu bar and search our membership by location and occupation, perhaps reach out to various writers that interest you. There are other talent search sites out there too. Or if interested in a particular writer or writers you could reach out to the agencies/managers that rep those creatives, an IMDb professional account may offer management contact information. Hope that helps some!

Hi Larry. I’d be very interested to discuss your project with regards the music if you’re looking for a composer?

Hi @Larry what genre is your story? I’m in the process of pitching fantasy/science fiction for children and my story involved creating a whole new alternate world. (With Maps)
