Thank you so much for organizing and sharing this, Sam! What an amazing experience to get to learn from Alec! As a 90s kid, Toy Story had such a massive impact on me and so many others. I feel like I had the distinct honor of growing up alongside Andy and his toys. I was even leaving for college at the same time that Andy was. My friends and I went to see Toy Story 3 in theaters together and by the end of the movie, there were four 18-year-olds sobbing in the dark. Few writers know how to create characters that have that strong of an impact on an entire generation.
