Actually, can anyone help me identify what kind of style of animation this is? I'm sure they'll expand in the BTS, but I want to know... uh, now. LOL!

It looks super cool! To hazard a guess, it looks like a Hybrid style animation. 3D characters with a artistic stylized render, put over 2D painted backgrounds. Very excited to see the episodes.
