Anything Goes : Assassin's Creed story fail as critics said...sometimes critics are right! by Andrew D Ford

Assassin's Creed story fail as critics said...sometimes critics are right!

The producers said it themselves but lie about why.... https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/2498708/assassins-creed-suffers-fr... The cut scenes telling proper character's back story and would have been "Break Out " roles for a few Lead actors! https://vimeo.com/203565223 Regardless of gamer POV. The audience got lost in the story itself cause there was none! Paying attention to detail as though it were real story asking yourself why this and that is happening along with others like why is that girl there and where did she come from? Oh, budget cuts doesn't matter kill that character off?...Hmmmm? You were forced to set there and take it like a dummy who watches merely because you don't want to FEEL you yet again got fooled by the Hollywood trailer into spending $ on a action cinematic flop AGAIN within the last 14-year suck period...like Dustin Hoffman said. "Writers aren't doing their homework"..but that wasn't exactly the case; various big scenes got cut. 80's and 90's made dozens of blockbusters a YEAR....we are lucky to see 3-4 now! Franchises and merchandising used to be a given! Now a "Fear Factoring" of emotional attempt at rational has plagued producers minds with them cutting scenes, back sliding, taking no risk and rinse and repeating!..."does that make sense?" Pointless non-Jackie Chan slow fighting as usual with celeb faces and no heavy breathing after getting the wind knocked out of'em along with 24-moves incredibly without fail against ALL opponents that's modern crap! Like the audience is just a child watching cartoons like Blues Clues! Sequels cannot be successfully produced when they are already put-off by the first one sucking; they will cut there loses on the whole franchise. Film is all money now days which is WHY it wasn't loved by critics and audience undisputed and actors and film makers need to do something about it like they did when they took back the movie making rights from the studios and the studios put the production back in the able hands of the actors and directors.

Assassins Creed suffers from a ridiculous plot and dreadful script,
Assassins Creed suffers from a ridiculous plot and dreadful script,
ASSASSIN'S Creed tries to succeed where other games-to-movies has failed... and fails miserably. I spent more time wondering how much Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard must have been paid...
Leonard D. Hilley II

Thanks for the review! I had wanted to watch this one, but will rethink that now. Love your line "The audience got lost in the story itself cause there was none!" Gotta have a story.

Thank You Leonard, that's entirely correct people didn't train themselves seriously in the UK to become circus monkeys caught up in a barrel of stand-in/stunt work...that's crew work. This review was part of a deeper bad experience testing talent professionalism, which is unnecessary. It's the most tyrannical and abuse of producer power and a true inside story from various on-set people. -due to secrecy and professionalism I am not at liberty to go into further detail. The details of "he who must not be named" backsliding after locking people in with contracts and that story being released was mentioned but sure if anytime soon they don't want to wreck their careers but part of the testimony is that them and their families were harassed, told mums the word, and "Who do you think you are" after they learned epic huge scenes already filmed would be cut -that's why the movie was lucid at best; no backstory.

Makes me glad to not have seen it. Think I'll stick with the games.

I guess we have another Prince of Persia on our hands. It's a shame. It's a great video game. At least there's always AC Lineage. Albeit in Italian. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RzzzMoO70_Y
