Anything Goes : Marketing Advice Needed by Keith Wilhelm Kopp

Marketing Advice Needed

Hello Fellow Stage 32er's,

I made a short dramatic film called Our Night which was completed in January 2017 and I have been submitting to festivals since it's completion.

I am a one man band when it comes to the social media marketing of the film, and though I had some help from cast and crew on reposting and adding content that has dried up the further we get from the completion of the film.

so far I have a facebook page and tweet about the film from my personal twitter. I have thought about getting a marketing person to give me a hand, but as you can imagine I have little budget left.

I need advice on keep things fresh when you have already reposted news articles related to themes, posted BTS footage and everything else you can think about. What do you guys do? and how long do you keep at it?

Try a barter -- you hire a real publicist (for a low cost) and compensate the P.R. person by putting one of his/ her clients in your next movie in a featured role. Easy.

Thank you for the advice LindaAnn! I Will see how I could work this.
