Anything Goes : Pitch Sessions by Sheila Simmons

Pitch Sessions

So the email I received today states 'Proven Execs Seek Female-driven Feature Scripts'. I was intrigued to see what that entailed was after reading the email, I clicked out here to Stage 32. So, there are various interesting pitch sessions being offered, but.... you have to pay 30 dollars for them. Has anyone done this yet? Am I the only one who thinks it's kind of weird? This reminds me of the Acting classes you pay for with Casting Directors and Agents. Please let me know what you think. Thank you!!

I would contact Erik Grossman of "Happy Writers on Stage 32. There is a long track record of screenwriters who have gotten their scripts optioned, sold or represented. I did the "November Write Club" and as a perk I am getting a FREE pitch session with a Studio executive before June 30th. Also I would go to the " Happy Writers" tab on the horizontal bar above and scroll down to success stories. That is the only way you'll be convinced it is not "weird". These are nothing like the Acting classes you've paid for with Casting Directors and Agents. And as a fellow Native New York City Stage 32 screenwriter I wish you all the success with your screenplays. Really "Don't Shoot the Messenger" I am really trying to help you. I did not start writing screenplays till I was 62 years old in 2014 after spending 30 years writing advertising copy on Madison Avenue. I owe everything I have accomplished so far to Stage 32 , its dedicated staff, and this amazing fellowship. You are looking at one very "Happy(Camper) Writer"
