Prob with uploaded photos

I wonder if anyone else has experienced this recent issue with the Stage32 site, in terms of previously uploaded photos not showing up on one's profile and there instead being a placeholder image. Also, none of the images show in gallery mode. Is this a happening with other profiles?

It seems to be still a problem. I'm hesitant to upload any new images until the matter is resolved. It's odd the only social media site I subscribe to that's having this problem is, ironically, one dedicated to media production.

Oh, please forgive my impatience Amanda. I sent 2 msgs. And one to Richard because I thought I was hacked and no one was receiving My msgs. yes, Colin Im missing 2 videos and yesterday all the photos were gone. Today the photos reappeared. Now that I know that .there is a bug and not some hacker on my computer, I will leave no more msgs. And exude patience..............

Just checking on the update of the glitches being remedied here. I wanted to know if you have an eta as when videos can be uploaded. I realize you are working things through, but an update would be appreciated................

Hello! I also had the same problem with 5 videos and several pictures disappearing from my profile. Do they all have to be uploaded again, or will Stage 32 be able to recover them?

Beth, sorry to say nothing has changed....I am missing 2 videos and I have 14 photos listed but only 8 visible with 2 of the red stage 32 logo squares.....It has been like this for a long time.......please advise.......

Delete and re-load images that show the generic S32 place holder graphic. Delete/re-load or re-post missing videos. Again, just give it a try. ;) Plus, I'll send a note to tech to take a look.

Beth, hi, there's also the problem with the chat and the network list in Safari. The first doesn't work, the second doesn't show contacts properly. I've also got problems with the search - it's impossible to find anyone using it.

Unfortunately, I can't reload the videos. that was done when I had a computer and had those files but now have an iPad and can't upload anything. Those videos were important because of a contact I Made on 32, so I'm quite frustrated to say the least. the pix maybe I can salvage and upload but not the videos......why did this even happen???????

I just noticed how these gigantic 32 logos keep appearing. I uploaded one of my pix that went missing and it showed up in my profile pix and now here as a post.....WTH???.??

IM just bewildered Beth because I've been with 32 since 2012 and this is the first time this has happened....I've had my iPad for almost 2 years now so it can't be that.....but I'm holding on........

Again, it could be something on your end. It could be your browser. It could be an issue with the server. Again, let's get tech to help.

Johanna, they upgraded to a new server in recent months, and have been dealing with some glitches that have occurred with the switch. S32 also has a small, but incredibly awesome staff who serve more than 500,000 members on this free platform. ;) I've been on the site since 2012 myself. Most of my images did the same thing as yours, but they all returned or I re-posted them. Most everything has returned back to normal. Now I have fired off more messages, so we should hear something soon. Thanks for your patience. :)

I've tried to reupload photos and it doesn't work. Used Safari though (not iOS), it seems there are problems with this particular browser.

Vladislav,, I tried to upload. My pix and nothing happened...I'm still missing photos....when I click on the 32 logo that says headshots in my photos, the photo appears then disappears.....but it's not there as a regular pix......waiting for tech to reply.......

Update, checked and my videos are back but NOT the photos and the video is still disabled not allowing me to upload........But this is progress....so,please let us all know when the glitches are over and done with.......thank you......

Hi, Johanna. Okay, I have an update... Most everything on the site is functional. However, unfortunately, video uploads are still problematic. Some of the site's issues are third party related and tech is working with them and through these complex issues—one at a time. But hopefully the remaining video/image upload problems will be sorted out very soon. :) Tech does address every single service message they receive. And due to this upload issue, there has been a high number to sort through. They're doing their best. So again, please hold on. Apologies for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience. Much appreciated. :)

Thanks Beth for updating......In case it helps at all, I wanted to let you and the tech dept. know that when I click on the 32 red logo in my photos, it winds up as that gigantic red logo on my wall......I understand about the video uploads but My photos are not totally there and I can't upload them either....just FYI......I Have plenty of patience.....appreciate the status..........

UPDATE: I've just been in touch with the crew and they are working around the clock. Some posts may have been lost due to these server, hardware and hosting problems. Some may end up being recovered. They are on it. And doing the best they can with all the man and woman power they have. Also, as you might imagine, with hundreds of thousands of active members and hundreds upon hundreds of emails coming in, they're juggling those as well—they are seeing all the tech support reports even if they are not currently responding, so thanks for those! Please know that these issues are being addressed. So hold on. Thank you so much for all the support, contributions, and for your patience. Very very much appreciated. :)

Beth, I wanted to know if the messages are affected. I have been in contact with someone and have been waiting for a response but I noticed when i sent him a message my pix wasn't there and that red logo was, so I wasn't sure if he even received it .....

If you sent a private message and it is visible, you're good. ;) You should also see a time stamp; "1 hour ago," or however long ago it was when you sent it. :) The S32 default graphic placeholder indicates a technical issue with the image file, not the message.

Hi Johanna. I am not having any technical issues with the site. When I look at your profile the video pixs look just fine. The issues from 7 to 9 months ago have been resolved. If there's any residual problem with an image or video then I would recommend deleting and re-loaded those images or videos. And if you sent a message to tech, please give them time to respond. I'll send a direct message on your behalf too. But perhaps there may be something on your end? Browser issue? Image format?
