The Just LOVE Show's very special guest this week IS... Robert Roskind promoter of Bob Marley's 70th; A Global Call to LOVE - Now More Than Ever... THE CELEBRATIONS Both celebrations will be streamed free and can be viewed live or anytime on this website. Host a One Love Gathering in your home or community! More than celebrations of Bob Marley’s 70th birthday, this is a global call to us all to make the same commitment as Bob did – to devote our lives to healing this planet through love, forgiveness and justice. In addition to music performed by well-known conscious recording artists – committed “musical messengers of One Love” – there will also be video messages from various elders inviting us to join them in teaching love in our lives. The celebrations will be at two incredible venues. On Friday, February 6 (Bob’s birthday) it will be at The Mateel in Redway, CA and on Saturday and on February 7 at the Catalyst in Santa Cruz, CA. (The event at The Mateel is sponsored by Reggae on the River.) Both will be streamed live and archived for viewing anytime via a free global webcast that can be viewed on this website. We are inviting people everywhere to share this global call to love with their family, friends and community by hosting a One Love Gathering in their homes, schools, churches, temples, synagogues, and clubs everywhere. These are non-profit events involving no corporate or government funding. All artists donate their time and talent as a gift of love and any proceeds over costs are donated to the One Love Foundation to continue its mission to forward the works of Robert Nesta Marley and his message of unconditional love – One Love – to an ever-growing national and global audience. The Time Is NOW: As becomes more apparent every day, the threats to peace, equality, our planet’s health – even our viability as a species – are now worldwide and systemic. The Answer is LOVE: All these threats have been created by a lack of understanding, compassion and love – by making things, pleasure, power, and money more important than people. Therefore all can be corrected by an infusion of One Love – unconditional love for all of Creation. As Bob sings, “What we need is love to guide and protect us on.” This healing will not come from the world’s leaders – indeed our leaders have created much of the problem and lead us further astray into their dark world.
