SO IT SEEMS ABOUT THREE DAYS AGO WE WERE DOING OUR MARCH EVENTS AND NOW WE ARE ALMOST TO SEPTEMBER! Is it me or is time moving quicker these days? It seems we are meeting and talking about something and then before we know it three months have passed and we are on to our “NEXT”! I suppose for me time has moved very quickly this last month with the death of my partner and all we are dealing with now in her absence, but it seems more profound right now because like many of you there seems to not be enough time in each day to get through the mountains of work, friends, connections, ideas and opportunities we are presented with. It’s also why I honestly believe “The Art of Active Networking” is more important now than ever. It’s easy for us to shoot off a few thousand emails, post to our Blogs and Social Media pages, add our LinkedIn connections but meeting people in person, making time for one and other is time consuming. Trust me, I get it. We all have the same number of minutes in each day, and we all have to make the tough choices on how to use them, but i am hoping you won’t write off the “in person” opportunities because they will get you much further towards building powerful relationships that any other way you use!
