Marci as you are in Los Angeles, the easiest is Craigslist. Seriously. Buying or selling gear in a location where the industry has a large footprint can be easy. Lots of potential buyers and sellers. To reach a larger audience, with some added complications, Ebay is another likely suspect.
With Craigslist make sure to take appropriate precautions when completing the transaction.
