Field Monitor for Canon 5D MIII

Anyone know of a good field monitor for the 5D3. We bought one, but it only works by sending the image to the monitor. We need one that displays the image on both the monitor and camera.

Michael Sandiford

Depending how big you want to go I would recommend the atmos ninja range as you can go out to a monitor as well plus you can record in the clean prores from the 5d3

Royce Allen Dudley

The touch screen "monitor" on the Atmos recorders are essentially useless as picture monitors.. the DSLR's built in is better. TV Logic and Marshall make decent monitors sized for on board use with DSLRs.

Jeffrey Akers

It's not the monitor that determines whether the camera is capable of displaying on it's own screen and the monitor at the same time- it's the camera. If you need two monitors (one for the DP and one for the director, for example) you need to get an HDMI splitter that will allow you to have two HDMI signals from one camera HDMI output.
