Songs for FILM and TV

I am a Recording Artist, and Actor. I have a song I wrote that I would love to get it in Film and TV. What would be the best way to achieve this? Today: https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/Q9agcrPuEDXJf4GU9

1. Most people here are composers/songwriters like you. We can listen and provide feedback but we can't ourselves place your song. You can try other lounges such as 'introduce yourself' or the your stage/promotion lounge.

2. Network with filmmakers/directors and get them to listen to your track. There are professional groups and social media areas where these 'stakeholders' hang out.

3. Park your music on a site from where it can be licensed. If you do that, please stay away from sites that have you pay something up front to park with the promises of licensing. Most sites will charge a publishing take of 50%. Use a site which takes cut only after the track is licensed. There are many of these - I have been myself using musicsupervisor.com. These sites are for completed commercial tracks. They work for rock/pop/hip hop/country, etc. They don't work real well for cues and new age/instrumental tracks. There are other 'library' sites that work better for those.

BTW - I listened to your track. I like it. In my opinion, you should look for placement in a tv episode. Keep also in mind, that when you license, you are often agreeing to let them do whatever they want with it. Your track is 4 min long. It may not be totally used - only parts. In fact, the track can be broken up and used in a order different from how it was produced.
