I am aware that Michigan is no longer going to be a big hotspot for making movies, due to the cease of the tax incentive. Things are starting to take off in northern Indiana when it comes to the film industry! I am in the middle of a bar rescue, and came across a few gorgeous sets...one being an old movie theater (complete with a marquee). It was restored in 1997, contains one screen, and a "crying room." The first film shown at this theater was "Gone with the Wind." The owner also owns a radio station (not operating currently), a bar/deli, and another store. These are gorgeous, restored, and available for venues (whether they be screenings or sets).

If they're ready to be dressed and shot, make sure the film commission knows about them... Assuming the owner is interested in shooting companies using the locations.
