I know anthology films are meant to have short films. But what if it has feature length films? How do I pull one off?

If I understand your question I think what you need is a common thread that each short will follow. It can be something very specific or even just a genre thread. Twilight Zone the movie is an example for genre thread. The characters and situations are completely different but they all have the eerie, out of this world feel to them.
So the actual film would be very long then no? Maybe too long?
