Filmmaking / Directing : First industrial video by Jason Rogers

Jason Rogers

First industrial video

I have my first industrial training video gig and I am trying to figure out what I should charge. I have a Canon C 100 mk2 and other equipment. I also have an editor. Can anyone advise?

Highly regionalized. You're competing against other vendors in your local area. Check out their websites, and consider how your fees stack up against their fees.

Regina is spot on. New York, NY will pay a lot more than Athens, OH.

What are you delivering? How many in the crew? How many days? Will you do also do the sound design? New client? Have they had training videos made before? What's your competition? All these things and more factor in. Don't want to shoot yourself in the foot just to get work, as it's almost impossible to get more $$ on the next one.
