This was a fantastic talk hosted by SAG-AFTRA. Of course, I was hooked the moment I saw Gina Torres. I'll watch her in anything! Although I spent most of the talk totally distracted by the handsome Nicholas Gonzalez - so good looking! I can't believe I didn't recognize him from CW's 'The Flash' LOL! Silly me...
But what a fantastic reflection on diversity within the community, where the stories are being told from (non-Latino writers to Latino actors), racial tensions within the Latino community. "Universality in specificity". Mmm, preach!
I appreciate that they are hosting this series with the understanding that they are hoping to transform. What was your big takeaway? Who were you introduced to?
