Hello everyone. As per the subject line, has anyone had success using IMDB pro to source showrunners and/or their agents? After a gauntlet of feedback, it was suggested to be - it's time to find a showrunner for my pilot and packet. Is this even a viable option? Thanks.
no, man. Not a legitimate showrunner. This is a pro league. Anyone good wants to be paid, partner with people with more than an idea.
My advice - find a middle person like an agent, filmmaker, associates who can vouch for you and your talent. Small projects first, baby steps. Good Luck

Dan is spot on. Deeper research on IMDb will reveal the assistants and associates who might be open to a cold query email.
