Distribution for short film "Bonnie Pureheart and the Golden Ghost"

I've been "dark" in the Stage 32 lounge for a few months because I've had my head down producing a short (32 min) paranormal comedy entitled "Bonnie Pureheart and the Golden Ghost." Well, I just finished the final edit yesterday, and cleared what I hope will be the final legal hurdles to secure rights to all the bits and pieces in the film. If no new roadblocks rear their ugly heads Monday, we'll be ready to roll the thing out to the film-festival circuit. Anyone interested in showing it can get to the trailer and poster from my C.G. Masi profile page on Stage 32. The last legal hurdle was securing the rights to Matt Venuti's "Skeleton Dance" as theme music for the film. Part of the deal is that I owe Matt a favor. Matt is a musician skilled with a novel percussion instrument called a "hang," which looks like a bedpan and sounds a little like a steel drum. Since it's played with the fingers instead of a hammer, it has a softer, more melodious sound than a steel drum ever hoped to produce. The "Skeleton Dance" sound track on the "Bonnie Pureheart" trailer heavily features hang sounds. Matt and I agreed that the best favor I could do him is to promote one or more concerts for his upcoming Florida tour. So, I'll be starting to look for venues to book in the late-January into February 2016 time frame. Anyone out there with a hall seating roughly 100 people in Florida, who'd like to host a concert can contact me at cgmasi@cgmasi.com. Anyone hot to host a Matt Venuti concert elsewhere can contact me also, and I'll pass it along to Matt. Also, I've started working with one of the "Bonnie Pureheart" stars, Miles Christian-Hart, on a reality TV series called "Cruzin' Florida." In real life, MCH restores classic cars at his shop in Sarasota, FL. "Cruzin' Florida" will document a series of classic-car and hot-rod events in central Florida. Again, anyone interested in licensing distribution of episodes should contact me via the email address above. --- CGM

Charles - I'd recommend networking with Jessica Sitomer - she is based in Florida and knows EVERYONE. Hopefully she can help connect you. Another suggestion is Brandi Thomas - she's a composer in Florida and can maybe offer some suggestions.
