Years back I made a feature that was 11 episodes for webseries too. Well I didn't do anything with it. Now after loosing minidv footage and old hard drive is not booting up, I found a master DVD. Problem is after ripping it and putting it on my timeline I realized it has copy right music on it. Any suggestions?

DM me here to discuss if you are looking for distro. So far as copyright music - your only option is to (a) get a synchroninization license from the copyright owner(s), or (b) re-edit the sound. Or (c) go with a breach of copyright and risk some very serious lawsuits.

Craig Z Short Then I don't understand the concern. If you are not distributing/publishing the work there is no copyright issue. So long as it's for personal use, you can use all the copyrighted works you want. Just don't disseminate them in any public way.
